1. Who can apply for a card?

You may only apply for a Card through your Employer. To apply for your Scope Prepaid MasterCard® you must be a UK resident, legally entitled to work in the UK and be at least 18 years of age. You must provide your name and a valid mailing address and must agree to the Terms and Conditions.

2. Do I need a good credit rating in order to apply for a card?

No. As you cannot spend more than the available balance on the card, the card issuer is not concerned with your credit rating.

3. Is there a need to sign an agreement or accept any terms and conditions?

The applicant accepts the Terms and Conditions of the card upon application.

4. When do I receive my card?

Upon approval of your application for the Scope Card, your card will be sent to you within seven working days.

5. What do I need to do once I receive my card?

Upon receipt of your Scope Card you must clearly sign the back in the box highlighted “Authorised signature”. Your card must be activated through the Airmax Scope website or by calling the Customer Support Team before any funds can be accessed or loaded onto your Scope Card.

6. When do I get my PIN?

You will receive your PIN within five working days of your card arriving.

7. How do I get the money on my card?

Only your employer can load your card: consult the Terms and Conditions.for further details.

8. How does my Scope Card work?

Any Scope Card can be used like any MasterCard® Card or debit card. You may be asked for your PIN in order to authorise particular transactions. Funds will be immediately debited from your card upon authorisation of any transaction. The Scope Card cannot be used for ATM cash withdrawals. Once you have activated your card you can view your full transaction history via the website.

9. I’ve received my card and it does not work?

Upon receipt of your card you will need to activate your card via the Airmax Scope website or by calling the Customer Support Team. Your card must be activated for use before any funds can be accessed or loaded onto your Scope Card.

10. What happens if I have purchased an item that I wish to return?

Your card will be credited subject to the merchants refund policy.

11. Where can I use my Scope Card?

Your card can be used for purchases of products, goods and services at any location worldwide that accepts MasterCard®. The MasterCard® brand is accepted at 28 million locations. In addition your card is activated for use online wherever you see the MasterCard® Acceptance Mark.

12. Can I use my card to withdraw cash from an ATM?

No, see the prepaid card Terms and Conditions.

13. My card no longer works, why?

Your card may not work for a number of different reasons.

Your card is damaged and the magnetic stripe or chip cannot be read.

You no longer have any balance available on the card.

The card has been blocked for security reasons, see Terms and Conditions.

Your card has expired. Check the expiration date stated on the card.

14. What are the fees for using my Scope Card?

15. Can I change my PIN?

Yes, if you find it hard to remember your PIN, you can choose a more memorable one. You can change your PIN at any ATM which displays the MasterCard® Acceptance Mark.

16. What happens if I lose my PIN?

You must inform Customer Services on +44(0)844 257 0367 in order to request a PIN reminder. We will resend your PIN, once you receive it we suggest that you change it at an ATM to a more memorable one; see point 15 for more details. Note, a fee will be charged for this, see Terms and Conditions for details.

17. Can I use my card online?

Your card is activated for use online at any merchant that accepts the MasterCard cards.

18. How do I register my mobile phone to my prepaid card?

If you gave your mobile number during the application process for the card, then it will be automatically registered to your Scope Card. You will be able to register your mobile number to your card at any time, by logging into the website and navigating to the 'Edit cardholder details' section. If your phone is not registered to your prepaid card you will not be able to use the SMS functionalities available to MasterCard cards (balance, transaction history, lock and unlock)

19. What if I change my mobile number?

We advise that whenever you change your mobile number you update this detail in the logged in section of the website, as the SMS functionality will not work with your phone unless it is updated first.

20. Is the Scope Card a normal debit card or credit card?

The Scope Card is not a credit card, charge card or debit card. Your Scope Card is a re-loadable prepaid card that carries a value equivalent to that loaded on to the card. Each time you use your card, the value of the purchase is deducted from the funds available on the card. In no case may transactions be authorised for purchases where the value is greater than the balance available on the card.

21. Should I expect to receive a monthly statement?

No. However, your full transaction history including your current balance is available through the logged in section on the Airmax Scope website (www.myexpensedetails.com )

22. Will I earn interest on the balance held on my Scope Card?

No, you will not earn any interest on your balance on your prepaid card. Your prepaid card is not interest bearing.

23. How do I cancel my Scope Card?

Your card can be cancelled by your employer contacting the Customer Support Team or by writing to Airmax Scope Ltd, Logic House, 31 Black Moor Road, Ebblake Industrial Estate, Verwood, Dorset, BH31 6BB. Cancellation of your prepaid card may incur a fee: consult the Terms and Conditions for further details.

24. What happens when my Scope Card expires?

Scope Services Cards are valid for 24 months. Upon expiration your card will no longer be available for use. Please consult the Terms and Conditions for further information.

25. What happens if my card is lost or stolen?

If you suspect that your card has been lost or stolen you must report it immediately to us +44(0)844 257 0397. You card will then be cancelled and a replacement card will be sent to you subject to a replacement fee stated in the Terms and Conditions.
